After being away for 4 months to prepare and compete at the Olympic Games Paris 2024, national cyclist Dato’ Muhammad Azizulhasni Awang recently went back to his home in Melbourne, Australia for the 1st time and decided to surprise his 4 children by coming back unannounced.
The ‘Pocket Rocketman’ took to his TikTok account to share the touching moments of reuniting with all 4 of his daughters, which pulled on the heartstrings of Malaysians, going viral with over 2 million views and 163,000 likes as of the time of writing.

At the start of the video, Azizulhasni’s 2nd eldest child, who looks like she just came back from school, immediately runs over to her father while shouting ‘Abi‘ (translated to English as father) when she notices his presence.
The father-daughter duo then hugged, with Azizulhasni’s daughter crying tears of happiness at her Abi finally coming back.
Azizulhasni then asked her why she was crying, to which she sobbingly replied,
“I miss you”
Besides that, the national cyclist also shared reuniting with his 3 other daughters, who were all very excited and emotional to have their Abi back.

Azizulhasni has been living in Australia since 2007
In case you didn’t know, Azizulhasni moved to Australia in 2007 and studied Bachelor of Sport Movement at Victoria University.
In 2015, he became the first non-Australian athlete to receive a Blue Award from the university for competing in the cycling sport at the highest level.
He and his wife, To’ Puan Ilyana Abd Samat are Australian permanent residents and are currently in Melbourne with their 4 daughters.
