We think workaholics can relate to this. Sometimes, your mind is still at work when your physical body is far, far away from work. A Malaysian man decided to bring his work along when he was off-duty, even when he was floating in the middle of the ocean. Literally.

In a viral Facebook post by TH Tan, the hardworking man showed how he was willing to go above and beyond just for the sake of securing a deal. While snorkeling, Tan swam up to the surface and answered an important phone call from a potential client. We guess he was ready for the occasion.

His phone was safely encased in a transparent plastic cover.

“Nothing can stop me from securing a deal”

In the caption of his post, Tan proudly highlighted that no circumstances can stop him from securing a deal. Well, we buy it.

Tan was having the time of his life by getting a dose of “vitamin sea”, and he was not obliged to take the call. Nevertheless, Tan continued with the phone call. Anything, and anywhere for a deal.

And Tan was honest about where he was when talking to his client.

“Yes, Mr Chong! I’ll send you the quotation when I’m back. I’m floating in the ocean. Keep in touch, okay? Thank you!”

In a brief conversation with WORLD OF BUZZ, Tan said that he was on vacation at Redang Island when the phone call took place. As for his video that has gone viral over the week, Tan did not foresee it at all.

We guess he had brought “work hard, play hard” to the next level. To our workaholic friends, are you as “semangat” as Tan?
