Us Malaysians are definitely proud of our country, especially when it comes to our food! So, if anyone disses any of our local delicacies, you’ll be sure they’d get an earful.
That’s exactly what happened to this American Twitter user who decided to try out one of our local favourites, Yeo’s Grass Jelly Drink (or more commonly known as air cincau). Unfortunately for him, he didn’t like it very much, and took to the social media platform to call it “the worst drink on the planet” and advised others to never drink it. Hey!

As soon as Malaysian Twitter users caught wind of this man’s hatred towards the beloved drink, well, you know what’s coming lah! They definitely had some choice words for this guy, and some of them were really passionate about their cincau too!

It looks like he’s not just stopping at cincau, though! He took to Twitter once again to say that he’ll be trying out another one of our famous drinks, air kundur (white gourd drink) after some Malaysians suggested he should try it.
