Malaysian entrepreneur and artist Datuk Seri Aliff Syukri is no stranger to controversy and is known for his controversial Raya songs which often draw plenty of backlash.
Despite plenty of other artists and even his mother telling him to stop making music, it appears as if nothing can stop him from trying to show off his talent.
He recently took to his Instagram account to share a teaser of his music video for this year’s Raya season.
In the video, Aliff could be seen singing and dancing along with male dancers wearing what appears to be tight skinsuits with sampins.
In the caption of video, Aliff wrote, “Give way to the Raya songs that has been trending for 4 years in a row. Cak cun cak Raya. Hopefully this song will provide happiness to all of you to celebrate the day. From Malaysia’s number 1 artist“.
Raya or scuba diving outfits?
The video has since gone viral and captured the attention of netizens who were surprised at the teaser. A couple of users made fun of the outfits and compared them to scuba diving suits.
“Scuba diver looking Raya uniform. While wishing Raya, can go diving.”
“First Raya at Sunway Lagoon,” said a user.
Meanwhile, other users urged him to stop making music in general and to stop disrespecting the baju melayu and the holy month of Ramadan.
