The main suspects in Abby Choi’s gruesome murder, who are Abby’s former in-laws are all in police custody now, and their bail has been denied. Meanwhile, the search for Abby’s remaining body part continues.

The police also said that none of the main suspects are willing to cooperate, which has made the investigation tougher. Abby’s former in-laws once again made headlines in Hong Kong media, who dubbed them “arrogant and shameless.”

This is because her former in-laws are asking Abby’s current in-laws to cover their legal fees, as reported by the media in Hong Kong. The mastermind, Kwong-kau, who is also Abby’s ex-father-in-law has reportedly hired a number of lawyers following his arrest, and recently, he asked his lawyers to reach out to Abby’s current in-laws and send them the message.

“I hope her current father-in-law can cover the legal fees for us,” Kwong said.

In the meantime, Abby’s friend also revealed to the media that her current in-laws have treated her well prior to her death, and they have been spending time together without any issues.

Sin Chew has also covered the news about the ridiculous request of Abby’s ex-father-in-law, and many netizens have since expressed their disgust toward such a shameless request.

“This doesn’t make sense, it’s shameless. And I think there’s something else behind this.”

“I’m really impressed.”

“The murder weapons alone could’ve proven them guilty. The killers have the audacity to ask others to cover their legal fees. Lifetime imprisonment and cane them please.”

“Hang them on the tree, let the public see.”

“That’s shameless. Do they have anything against Abby’s current in-laws?”

“This is not a simple murder. If the police can really solve this, the truth is definitely going to be groundbreaking!”

What do you think of such a request? Who would’ve thought the main suspects have the audacity to ask for others to cover their legal fees?
