The weather in Malaysia can be quite unpredictable, shifting dramatically from scorching heat to sudden bursts of strong winds and rain in a matter of hours. This unpredictability often leaves people feeling confused, making it challenging to plan activities for the day.

In a recent TikTok video from user @donseux, he is shown amidst a crowd of people at the cable car in Langkawi.

When interviewed by WORLD OF BUZZ, he shared that they were left stranded for an hour because of the weather before they could descend.

“It didn’t take us that long to wait, though. It only lasted for an hour, after that, we were all able to descend slowly and safely.”

The Langkawi SkyCab, also known as the Langkawi Cable Car, had to cease operations due to a sudden and extreme weather change, prioritizing safety measures.

Worried netizens began filling the comments section, expressing concern about everyone’s safety upon witnessing a large number of stranded people.

“May God ease everything for all of you.”

“The wind has been quite strong lately. Take care, everyone!”

“Last Monday, my family and I visited the cable car, and the wind was noticeably strong and chilly.”

Some even went out of their way to turn a bad situation into something positive.

Funny

“You could likely make big bucks if you start selling drinks there at that moment.”

A user commented “Abang bomba, please help.” because, ironically, the @donseux turned out to be an actual fireman.

Funny3

“When I was younger, I would hop around in the cable car. But as I’m getting older, I’d rather sit still, and hope to make it through the ride in one piece.”

The silver lining in this situation is that we’re glad that everyone made it down safely. Big shoutout to all Malaysians for pulling together during times like these. And don’t forget to stay safe, especially during this monsoon, everyone!
