Taking to Facebook, netizen Asrul Mamat was made to go on social media after his complaint to Air Kelantan Sdn. Bhd. (AKSB) that water woes in Kuala Krai, Kota Bharu have not improved for the past three years!

Three years mind you!

“I hope the authorities will do something about this. My house is only 2km away from the AKSB HQ, yet I still face this problem despite complaining for the past three years.”

To give you an idea what he and many in his area have to go through, he shared images of his water problem on social media.

“I know this may not be the best way to lodge a complaint, but I have nowhere else to bring this up to.”

“For the past year, I have been able to put in place a generator and filtration system, but for the past eight months, this has been a common occurrence.”

“I am made to pay huge water bills because I have to keep flushing out dirty water out of my water filter, wash back filter and change my filter on a weekly basis.”

He adds that the water tariffs remain the same but the quality of service is simply not there.

“I have a damaged washing machine, forced to use a public laundry service, pay exuberant electricity bills because of a faulty generator..who will reimburse all my losses if this situation continues?”

Let’s hope that the public outcry of Asrul and many others like him will inevitably force AKSB to carry out their duties and improve the living of the public.
