A live-action adaptation of one of the most popular manga, One Piece, is coming soon on 31 August 2023!
On 18 June 2023, Netflix uploaded a 1 minute 43 seconds long teaser trailer for the latest live action One Piece TV series. We got to see Momkey D Luffy, Roronoa Zoro, and other iconic characters, as well as the ships and giant sea monsters.
“Considering my expected life span, I believe this is the last chance to bring One Piece to the entire world,” said Eiichiro Oda, the creator and writer of the One Piece manga, according to The Verge.
“If we’re going to do it, I want to be able to supervise things while I’m still active. That’s why I agreed to the live-action adaptation of One Piece back in 2016,” he said
The live action One Piece TV series will consists of eight episodes, and start streaming on 31 August this year.
