We never thought that a 10-year-old would ever be associated with a luxury watch heist but the world works in mysterious ways.

According to HK01 and The Standard, an armed robbery occurred on 11 September where 3 robbers wielding hammers and mallets broke the glass display cases in a luxury watch shop on Canton Road in Hong Kong and stole 20 watches amounting to 3.7 million Hong Kong dollars (RM2,213,808).

It is said that 2 out of 3 of the robbers were minors aged 10 and 14 respectively on their Hong Kong identity cards and both of them robbed the store while wearing a casual jacket over their school uniform.

The 10-year-old boy of Pakistani origins is said to be 1.7m tall and was allegedly offered 5,000 HKD (RM2,991) to skip school and join the heist.

The Hong Kong police also managed to arrest 2 other people connected to the robbery other than the 2 minors mentioned above, they are both Pakistani Hong Kong identity cardholders aged 19 and 17 respectively.

The 17-year-old who is also one of the robber’s siblings, was a driver for the 3 robbers but claimed that he had no part to play in the robbery as he did not know anyone of the robbers.
