Malaysian Digital Creator Sofyank Wins Ultimate VFX Challenge

Digital creator and social media phenom Sofyank made Malaysia proud when he won the Ultimate VFX Challenge in Los Angeles, USA.

Dubbed the next Zach King, by none other than Zach King himself, the 26-year-old defeated two other content creators to be crowned champion.

In the challenge, organized by Zach King, all three contestants were tasked at producing a magic video within 72 hours.

When announced, Sofyank shared: “I am really grateful. My feet are shaking right now, thank you so much.”

In his social media post upon winning the competition, he thanked everyone involved.

“When I was invited to Los Angeles, I could not believe just how big of an opportunity I had…and when Zach King annouced me as the winner, all I wanted to do was to share this to those who have supported me.”

“I would like to thank everyone who’ve supported me since 2015. Dear Zach King, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude. You are not only a personal idol but an inspiration to others.”

“Umi and Abah. I have achieved my biggest goal this year. Alhamdulillah.”
