Fathers would do anything for their daughters, including starving themselves so that their child can have a decent meal.

That was almost the case for one Thai man, until restaurant staff decided to step in.

A shabu-shabu restaurant owner, Panumas B. Sroitong, took to her Facebook profile to share how a father-daughter duo had entered her eatery to celebrate the little girl’s birthday. The father couldn’t afford a meal for the both of them, so he had told his daughter to eat while he waited outside.

Meal 1

When the little girl refused to eat without her father, they both decided to leave.

Thankfully, the restaurant staff informed Panumas of the incident as the father-daughter duo walked out. She immediately stopped them and offered them complimentary meals!

Meal 2

“When the staff ran to tell me, I told the father and daughter to sit and eat. While eating, we kept peeking (at them),”

The father kept feeding the young girl, blowing (the heat from the food) for the child and feeding her the entire time. The dad is so cute,” she wrote.

Meal 4

On top of the already kind act, Panumas also instructed her staff to purchase a birthday cake for the little girl, leaving not just the father-daughter duo in tears but also the staff members.

Meal 3

“The staff here burst into tear. We saw the father and daughter leaving the shop happily, we are very happy too!”

CCTV images showcased the duo leaving the store with huge smiled on their faces.

Meal 5

We’re so happy that the father-daughter duo got the birthday celebration they needed and that they managed to encounter kindhearted people who made it happen for them.

Kudos to Panumas and her staff, for brightening up everyone’s day with their act of kindness!
