In 2020, what’s the worst part of getting out of a relationship? Besides the taunts and impending loneliness, of course! Well, it’s the approximate 2,342,765 images of your ex in your phone, Instagram, Snapchat and even your heart…

The first sign of moving on is of course to delete all those pictures but how about if you didn’t delete it, you win a prize?

Villagers from Magelang, Jawa Tengah, Indonesia decided to have a rather unusual competition for Indonesia’s Independence Day on August 17. Instead of the usual “patriotic” ones, this competition was a tad more unique where youngsters were asked to see their ex’s picture and whoever can see it the longest, wins!

Hey alexa, can you play photograph by ed sheeran…

According to Tribun News, one of the contestants said that the competition was purely for entertainment purposes only. He added that due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there was no usual pomp celebration so they just organised this competition for fun!

The contestants were all his friends and they even caught the attention of the local people. It was conducted right in front of his house and the spectators came to witness the “fun”.

Are there actually winners for this competition?

Now, to go into a spiral of finding our ex’s pictures and stare at it even though, there’s no competition. What do you guys think about this contest? Let us know in the comments section!
