Malaysians have been known to litter, at public parks, beaches and even from their cars, which is why the authorities and many others have encouraged Malaysians to throw their rubbish in designated garbage bins and spots. But what happens when Malaysians take that for granted as well?

The Penang Kini Facebook page took to their profile to showcase pictures of a designated garbage spot in Kepala Batas, Penang, at which the contents of rubbish bags had been strewn all over the place.

Hargailah pengutip sampah MBSP naa..boh sampah di dalam tong..kalau penuh..ikat elok-elok..letak tepi tong..jangan main…

They wrote, “Appreciate the garbage-men from Majlis Perbandaran Seberang Perai (MBSP). Throw your rubbish in the bins. If it’s full, tie your rubbish up properly and place it beside the bin. Don’t just simply throw your rubbish everywhere. Causing unnecessary difficulties for our working friends, please have sympathy for them.”

The area where the designated garbage bins were placed was a mess, as showcased in the pictures.

Thanks to the amazing MBSP garbage collectors, the designated spot is now close to spotless as they managed to clear every bit of trash expelled from their rubbish bags.

Trash 5 Trash 6

We truly should be more appreciative of our garbage collectors and cleaners considering how they always have to clean up after our messes.

The least we can do is to properly throw our rubbish at the designated garbage spots, and when we mean properly, we mean with the rubbish bags tied up properly so that its contents don’t spew out and litter the entire space.

What do you think about this? Let us know in the comment section.
