Rewatching your favorite movies is not just about the sense of familiarity but also reflects your love for the films. Superhero flicks tend to attract “repeat audiences” especially when the movies are done right.

A man from Seremban shows his love for a local movie, The Experts by watching it 9 times in 4 days since its release last week (May 23). The film has only been in theatres for less than a week but Chee Chi Wai made time for The Experts, and he WILL clear his schedule again for the same movie.

Yes, 9 times is NOT ENOUGH.

In an interview, Chee said he was impressed with the Malaysian heist movie, which he viewed at the same height as international movies and described it as “an interesting plot”.

“It’s not cliche and the editing work was beautifully done. I’m sure the technology used to film this movie is on par with the international movies.”

But wait, how did Chee manage to watch The Experts 9 times in less than 1 week? Well, Chee mentally planned his time for the rest of the week, and he definitely wouldn’t miss the opening night.

“I rushed to the cinema to watch the film and on weekends, I spend the morning and night watching The Experts.”

Chee is currently targeting to watch The Experts 24 times before the movie is taken off the shelf, just like what he did for another local movie that is still playing in cinemas, Sheriff, which, at the time of writing, has grossed over RM60 million since its release during Raya.

While Chee did not reveal how much he spent on the movie tickets, he hinted about the money spent to “keep the memories.”

Chee will frame the pictures he took with the celebrities during the opening night, as well as the tickets and t-shirts signed by the actors.

“I spend around RM500 to maintain the quality,” Chee said, adding that he will always support local movie.

The Experts, which stars Aaron Aziz, Syafiq Kyle, Mimi Lana, Remy Ishak and more is currently playing in theatres. To those who have caught up, what do you think of the movie?

What other movies made you return to the cinema again to watch the same film?
