Even if you hadn’t watched Crazy Rich Asians yet (like me), it’s almost impossible not to notice Henry Golding because he has been on every entertainment news outlet lately. If you didn’t know, he was also a former TV personality in Malaysia and he was quite famous for his travel programmes.

However, it was only after the release of CRA that Henry was globally recognised by everyone and needless to say, the man rose to fame almost immediately.

Ever since then, the British-Malaysian Henry has only been stealing the spotlight at every event he goes to and recently, he has done it again at the 2019 Oscars’ red carpet. Yep, our homeboy really dazzled on the red carpet!

We all know that Henry Golding has got style and he didn’t disappoint us when he showed up on the Oscars’ red carpet for the first time ever. He probably had some tips from Michelle Yeoh who, by the way, looks ravishing in Elie Saab.

The dashing actor looked dapper in a Ralph Lauren tuxedo which was paired with a white bowtie. His slicked back and side-parted hair immediately gave us some of that good old vintage Hollywood vibes.

He looked so handsome that netizens all over the world took to Twitter to express how smitten they were with Henry Golding on the red carpet. Some of the tweets are shown below:

I feel ya, sis.

On the other hand, one netizen thought Henry could easily play the role of James Bond or Superman/Batman. Honestly, we couldn’t agree more!

Another netizen pointed out that Henry Golding could be the perfect Jane Austen lead. An Asian Mr Darcy? Yes, please! <3

It’s safe to say that many people certainly sat up and took notice when Henry Golding made his charming appearance on the 2019 Oscars’ red carpet.

On that note, we hope that our Henry will continue to make heads turn wherever he goes in life and hopefully, he will make an appearance again for the 2020 Oscars! #FingersCrossed
