A Malaysian man was recently caught taking upskirt videos of women in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur, recently.

In a viral video, the man was caught in the act and was confronted by men who asked him, “Bro, what are you recording?”

He placed his phone upside down in a paper bag and walked near a woman in a skirt, and placed the bag directly under her skirt.

The perpetrator, who was wearing a face mask, then tried to run away with his smartphone, but to no avail. He was then “subdued” by two other men, while another woman informed the victim about the matter.  The man was then handed over to the police.

In a Facebook post by a Malaysian woman who was at the scene, after inspection, the public found 500GB worth of upskirt photos and videos on his device.

The man is also allegedly a student in Cyberjaya, and according to the woman, he was later brought to the police station.

She added that the video capturing the man caught in the act is meant to be evidence that the latter had indeed taken upskirt videos. She further elaborated that the man might not be working alone.

“As for the ladies, be aware of this man and this matter. If you’re wearing a skirt, it’s best to put on safety pants.”

“Based on his gallery, many of his victims did not put on safety pants,” she explained.

At the time of writing, PDRM has yet to release a statement on the matter.
