This is definitely the good news we all needed to hear!

Watsons Malaysia Is Now Selling Packs Of 50 Face Masks For Rm7.50 Each At Selected Outlets! - World Of Buzz 1

Starting today (26th March), you can purchase a pack of 50 3-ply surgical masks for just RM7.50 a pack at selected Watsons Malaysia locations! On their Facebook page, Watsons said that each of these locations will only have 50 packs of masks available in each location as these essential items are limited in supply.

However, Malaysians should take note that this promotion is only valid at selected Watsons Malaysia outlets and will only be available while stocks last! Here are the list of stores that have surgical masks ready for purchase:

As exciting as this promo is, Malaysians are advised to still adhere by the government’s instruction to maintain social distancing and stand at least one meter apart from other customers. After all, it’s better to be safe than sorry.

With the recent price hike of surgical masks from 80 sen to RM2 per piece and the usual price of RM50 for a pack, many Malaysians were outraged at how overpriced these essential items have become, especially given a time like this when it is urgently needed for medical workers and those who are ill.

Hence, Watsons Malaysia also used the opportunity to remind their customers that you should only wear a mask if you’re taking care of sick people or if you’re ill and show symptoms of fever, sneezing or coughing. Face masks need to be used wisely as they can only be worn once or a maximum of 3 times.

Hopefully, this will benefit those who need it most!
