However, no plea was recorded from the accused, as the case falls under the jurisdiction of the High Court, as reported by Sinar Harian.

Initial investigations reportedly found that the incident arose from a misunderstanding between the 31-year-old suspect and the victim.

The victim was pronounced dead at around 7:28 PM on August 11, after being stabbed in front of his family’s home in Taman Seri Pagi, Seremban, Negeri Sembilan.

Negeri Sembilan Police Chief Datuk Ahmad Dzaffir Mohd Yussof said the suspect attacked the victim out of anger after discovering that his wife was having an affair with him.

Deputy Public Prosecutor Nik Nor Aqilah Syarfa Nik Zaidi requested a date for the submission of the chemistry, DNA, and post-mortem reports, and no bail was granted.
