Another Malaysian has gone missing after travelling to Bangkok, Thailand.

In a viral Xiao Hong Shu post, it was revealed that the missing person, Andy Jee Yung Kit, flew to Bangkok on January 8 this year and was scheduled to return home on January 15. The 30-year-old man who works in Singapore, however, never made it home.

The social media user who posted the missing person’s notice urged the public to help search for his cousin, who lost contact after going to Bangkok.

“Andy flew to Bangkok with his friends on January 8 but he never returned home.”

“He went missing even after the end of his work leaves, and we only knew about his disappearance when his colleagues came looking for him at home.”

It was also revealed that Andy’s family members have flown to Singapore to gauge the situation and check with the authorities to see if Andy had any records of returning to Singapore. In the meantime, Andy’s family and relatives also said that they have no idea about the friends who travelled to Bangkok with him.

“Andy’s colleagues also knew that he was going to Thailand with his friends, but had no idea about who those friends are.”

However, if there is no record of Andy returning to Singapore, the family will be flying to Bangkok to look for him.

Earlier this month, a couple from Penang returned home after going missing in Thailand for 4 months. However, they refused to speak about the matter.

We hope Andy can be located as soon as possible so that he can reunite with his family members.
