When an individual is diagnosed with Covid-19, authorities will begin contact tracing to determine close contacts of the infected person. Once they are identified, they will be put into isolation for at least two weeks just in case they are infected with the virus too. If they do not develop any symptoms of the virus within the isolation period, they will be released.

However, a guy in Singapore was diagnosed with Covid-19 on the exact same day he was released from isolation.

According to Sin Chew Daily, the 26-year-old Singaporean man was identified to be linked to The Life Church and Missions Singapore cluster.

He was then put into isolation from 15th February to 6th March, almost three weeks.

On the same day his quarantined had ended, he had visited SAFRA Punggol. However, subsequent test results later that afternoon revealed that he tested positive for Covid-19.

The man is case 138 in Singapore.

Oh no, the Covid-19 virus is becoming really unpredictable recently. Hopefully the medical authorities will be able to stay a few steps ahead to prevent more from getting infected. In the meantime, stay safe, guys!
