All of us have been waiting eagerly for the opening of 20th Century Fox World Theme Park in Genting Highlands ever since it was confirmed in July 2013. Originally slated to be open in 2016, the date has been delayed but it is expected to open in 2018. Hopefully there will be no more delays!

If you are one of the fans who have been impatiently waiting then you can visit the world’s first Fox World Studio Store right here in Malaysia! The store is located on the second Floor of Sky Avenue, Resorts World Genting and is massive, as it takes up 3,000 sq ft of retail space.
The store is actually the 20th Century Fox World’s first ever specialty store and is catered especially for movie buffs who can’t wait to experience the theme park when it finally opens. Now you can get your hands on all the official movie memorabilia from the awesome cinematic realm that 20th Century Fox has created as they have more than 700 items for sale.

Some of the collections include official merchandise from popular movies such as Ice Age, Night at the Museum, Planet of the Apes, Rio, Alien vs. Predator, Robots, Epic and many more. Of course, this store is just a teaser for the main event that everyone is waiting for, the 10-hectare theme park itself!
The initial plan for 20th Century Fox World will feature over 25 rides and attractions of a cinematic nature in three sections. Some of the movies that are expected to make an appearance in the 20th Century Fox World include Alien, Predator, Ice Age, Life of Pi, Rio and Night at the Museum.
