Two Malaysian men were shot dead at the lobby of a shopping complex in Jalan Loke Yew, Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, at around 12.15am today while heading towards their car that was parked near the vicinity of the mall.
According to Berita Harian, the victims were suddenly approached by a group of men wearing helmets, who then released several gunshots at the victims.

The perpetrators were reportedly armed with pistols and fled the scene in a Perodua Alza.
The two victims, identified as males in their 40s from Sibu, Sarawak, were pronounced dead on the spot after suffering gunshot wounds to the head and body.
A police team from the Criminal Investigation Department of the Kuala Lumpur Police Contingent and the Cheras District Police were dispatched to the location alongside the Forensic Unit to conduct an investigation.
The Kuala Lumpur Police Contingent is reportedly gathering information from witnesses and the CCTV footage at the location to identify the suspects.
The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code, with the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) expected to release a statement on the incident soon.
