According to Kwong Wah Yit Poh (translated by The Star), a grandmother from Guang’an, China had arranged for a Feng Shui master to rape her teenage granddaughter.

Upon investigations, authorities found that the teenager was frequently ill, and her superstitious grandmother had brought her to see the man several times in attempts to ‘cure’ her.

The girl lived with her grandmother as her parents worked in another city.

In one of their sessions in May, the medium had told the grandmother that he would be able to make the girl ‘better’ by having sexual intercourse with her.

Sadly, the old woman agreed and together, they tricked the girl and brought her into a jungle where the rape took place.

The girl fell into depression ever since the assault. She left four notes and two voice mails before jumping to her death.

The grandmother and the medium have been detained by police for investigations.

For the grandmother to allow her own flesh and blood to be harmed over a stupid belief is such a sense waste. This reminds us that although it’s the 21st century, many amongst us are still gullible and may easily fall prey to these scams.
