1. Roti Sarang Burung
This roti is made by moulding the roti into a ring shape, while adding two sunny side up eggs in the middle – giving the impression of a bird’s nest.
The creation recently went viral in Kuala Kangsar, but Malaysians in the Klang Valley can shimmy their way to Shah Alam for this Roti as well.

This roti is everything we love IN ONE! Located in Penang, this shop tops off its roti with mouthwatering curry, sunny side up egg, onions, cheese and fried chicken!
While it is a hidden gem to most of us, the spot actually is very popular among locals. So if you plan on visiting, make sure to prepare yourself for quite a wait as the store can fit only a limited amount of people.

3. Roti Ular
When we think ‘Roti’, we’d imagine something flat. However, recently, a unique creation caught the attention of many netizens as it went viral.
As its name suggests, Roti Ular is made to look like the shape of a snake and it’s then drenched with tasty curry on top. Customers may choose from a variety of flavours for their Roti as well, such as Milo, Nestum, Cheese, and Planta.

4. Roti Tsunami
Located right in the middle of the city centre, Mansion Tea stall does not particularly stand out if you don’t know what you’re looking for. Served in a quaint traditional stall, the roti is ‘flooded’ with kuah and sambal, topped with 2 runny eggs. The sight of it is enough to make you mouth water!

5. Roti Nachos

Tucked away in Bachang, Melaka, Roti Canai Kayu Arang sells their one-of-a-kind Roti, and it’s hugely popular too. Known as roti nachos, the roti is topped off with minced chicken, purple cabbage, green peppers and generous amounts of cheeeesseeeee! Note: No nachos were found in the roti, but it’s still very delicious!

Known as Roti Canai Merecik Special, this place uses its roti as a wrap, and fill it with egg and fried chicken. The dough is stretched thin enough so it retains its crispiness even after it’s cooked. Plus, you can even top it off with cheese and have it inside as a filling!
The dish is served with the staple dhal and sambal.

This spot takes a creative twist to their rotis. They first shred their roti into smaller pieces, and then mix it together with eggs and sambal. It is then fried like an omelette, and served with thick dhal. As it sells out super fast, make sure to arrive early!
