For herpetophobians or people who fear lizards, geckos may not be the best animal they’d want to meet if they get the chance to travel to Indonesia.

Why? Because they can get pretty huge there.

Just how huge? Well, a recent video circulating on social media proved just how big these lizards could get. What more they are blessed with several superpowers such as plastering themselves on walls and ceilings despite their large size.

So herpetophobians, look away.

Trying to sell off the gecko, a man could be seen pinning the gecko down to the floor and measuring the length of the gecko which was around 1 metre in length.

Sadly we are unsure as to how the business took place. It is most probable that the animal may be sold as an exotic pet or worse – as exotic meat.

Garnering more than 1.9k likes, not much is said about the specific location as to where the man captured the gecko or whether or not the buyer confirms making the purchase.

We hope that exotic animals like this will be set free, and be allowed to live the life they were supposed to live without the intrusion of human beings.
