It’s not so often that us regular folks get to bump into ministers on the street, let alone at the scene of the accident you’re involved in.

That’s what happened for a motorcyclist when he was unfortunately injured in an accident in Kuala Lumpur.

Malaysia Gazette took to their Twitter page to showcase Deputy Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, who had stopped at the scene of the accident to offer his assistance to the injured party.

They wrote, “Deputy Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, helped a motorcyclist who was involved in an accident with a car near Jalan Tuanku Abdul Halim here today (August 21).”

“The Barisan Nasional (BN) chairman said the incident happened when he was on his way home after attending the groundbreaking ceremony for the MIC building in Jalan Rahmat here.”

In the images showcased, the injured motorcyclist could be seen lying on the ground while Datuk Seri Zahid Hamidi stood over him in an effort to help.

At one point, the motorcyclist even gripped the Deputy Prime Minister’s arm while blood could be seen around his head.

We genuinely hope that the motorcyclist recovers from the accident.
