But this latest fusion of two of Malaysia’s favourite food might work and we can’t wait to take a bite. US Pizza and Penang Road Famous Teochew Chendul have collaborated to come up with the new limited Penang Chendul Pizza which as the name states, is a combination of pizza and the Penang Chendul. In a Facebook post, US Pizza explained,
“A timeless Malaysian dessert meets US Pizza! With fresh pandan flavored chendul noodles, immersed in light coconut milk and topped with gula melaka and kidney beans, the #PenangChendulPizza will tantalize your tastebuds like never before!”
This combination might be weird to some but at the end of the day, it will be a dessert pastry with gula Melaka drizzled on top and I can’t find anything wrong with that. The limited pizza is now available at all US Pizza outlets in Malaysia but since it is a limited run, you need to snatch a bite fast or forever regret not doing so. Brb, going to US Pizza now.
