It’s the Year of the Pig this year and everywhere, you can see porcine-looking merchandise and decorations being put up as Chinese New Year is coming soon. You may have seen Starbucks coming out with these super adorable piggy tumblers and mugs that were launched in other countries such as Singapore and South Korea.

Now, Malaysians don’t have to purposely go out of the country for this cute pig-inspired line of merchandise because the coffee chain has actually brought them over to our shores! OMG, they’re all so delightful that we want them all! The collection was launched quietly yesterday (Jan 8) and is already available in selected Starbucks outlets all over Malaysia.

Known as the “Hello Little Piggy” collection, it features a dapper little piglets all dressed up in a charming monochrome jacket and sharp red tie waiting to usher in the Lunar New Year. These merchandise were designed by South Korean company Studio L-E and we must say that these tumblers and mugs are highly coveted! Prices for a tumbler starts from RM75.

The collection comes in a variety of designs with pink and red being their predominant colours. One of the tumblers even has a pig head on its top cover, even complete with ears and there’s a mug with pig ears as well! Otherwise, there is also a cuddly teddy bear dressed up in a pig suit for sale that is priced at RM98 and a limited edition mug set with all 12 Chinese zodiac animals that costs RM88.
Good luck in trying to grab some because they’re selling out fast! BRB, gonna go to Starbucks!
