This is the stuff of our nightmares!
A woman in Vietnam was feeling pain in her ear and she felt like there was something “attacking” it. So she went to a doctor to get it checked out.
The doctor, Dr Hoat did a very thorough check-up and managed to find an insect that was still alive in the woman’s ear!
The insect resembled a worm with stripes on its body and looked like a type of caterpillar. When it was discovered, it was squirming around in the woman’s ear canal and seemed to be eating at the walls.
Dr Hoat then immediately used a special tool to take the worm out. It was reported by Awani that the insect is a venomous one.
The video was uploaded on 1 May with the consent of the patient.
