The coronavirus spread is still ongoing as many across the world are going into or are still in the process of quarantine.

But what happens to these people while they are in quarantine? Are there medical professionals checking up on them? What if something bad happens during quarantine? Can someone go to help them?

These are the many unanswered questions brought up because of an Italian woman who is forced to remain quarantined in her Borghetto Santo Spirito flat with her husband’s corpse.

The woman’s husband, who was quarantined with her, had apparently passed away at 2am on the 9th of March, though due to quarantine restrictions, no one has entered her home to comfort her, help remove his corpse or allow her to leave the premises.

As according to the Mirror, the woman’s neighbour had apparently seen her crying from the balcony and calling out for help.

“Right now, the most important thing is to think about this lady, alone with the body of her husband. No one can come close to help her nor comfort her. We hope this is quickly resolved,” said the neighbour.

Being in such a situation can cause a person’s mental health to be jeopardised, considering she’s trapped alone with the lifeless body of her significant other, the woman may possibly fall into a deep depression which can cause suicidal tendencies.

We genuinely hope that medical officials assist her during this difficult time, while still taking precautions to ensure their own safety, of course.
