If you frequently drive around Bangsar, you may want to take note of this!
Earlier this week on Tuesday (27th March), a netizen named Anne Faizuani took to Twitter to warn other drivers in KL about this particular driver she had encountered on that same day along Jalan Maarof in Bangsar.
Her Tweet, which has gone viral with over 5,000 retweets, showed a dash camera footage documenting an incident involving the driver in question. As evident from the footage, Anne can be seen slowing down and coming to a stop at a traffic light.
The footage clearly shows that her car was completely stationary and a gold Proton Saga stopped in front of her car. However, the Waja can be seen slowly rolling backwards and getting closer to Anne’s car. The Waja then abruptly stops just inches away from her front bumper and the car’s hazard lights were turned on right after that.
The driver of the Waja can then be seen coming out of his car and approaching Anne, presumably to accuse her of rear-ending him. What?!
Anne then shared additional pictures of the incident, showing that she did not make any contact with the Waja, with just a small amount of space separating her car from his.
One netizen asked her what happened after the incident, to which she replied that she had already settled the matter and made a police report. Despite this, he still insisted that Anne had hit his car.
Well, at least the relevant authorities are handling this case now and the situation can be properly sorted out! Stay vigilant on the road, guys. You wouldn’t want to fall victim to something like this!
