Woman Dies After Falling From Overpass & Being Hit by Passing Vehicle Near i-City

In a horrifying video that took social media by storm, footage of a woman who was believed to have fallen from an overpass near the Federal Highway became the talk of the town yesterday (March 15).

In the video, the owner can be heard shouting repeatedly that the woman had fallen from the overpass and landed on the tarmac beneath it.

The police have since made a statement on the incident.

“A woman is believed to have fallen from an overpass near i-City, Kilometre 6.5 of the Federal Highway, Klang bound.”

“Upon receiving information at 3:17 pm, the police Mobile Patrol Vehicle Unit (MPV) was dispatched. We have located the unidentified woman, whose nationality could not be determined,” said the statement.

Adding more information on the incident, Klang Utara District Police Chief ACP Vijaya Rao shared that the victim was believed to have fallen from the overpass and was subsequently hit by passing vehicles.

Members of the public with information on the incident are urged to help police with investigations by contacting Sergeant Shaharuddin at 013 373 6333 or reporting it to their nearest police station.
