A Thai woman’s costly mistake caught the attention of netizens in the country and globally after she shared what happened to her Versace jacket after washing it using the washing machine.
Shared to TikTok, the woman, @nornor_nuna, revealed that the jacket, which she bought from the luxury brand for over THB40,000 or RM5,243, had shrunken to what could be described as baby-size.

In the video, which has since garnered over 6.3 million views, @nornor_nuna recorded herself retrieving the Versace jacket from inside the washing machine amidst a pile of other clothes.
She then placed the jacket onto a hanger, revealing how it has shrunk to a comically small size, which, as she jokingly said in the overlaid text, is suitable for a dog to wear.
In the caption, @nornor_nuna revealed that she had only worn the jacket 5 times before it shrunk.
In the comments, many netizens were amused by her predicament and advised her that the type of fabric like the one on the jacket can only be dry cleaned and not be put in a washing machine.

Meanwhile, in a follow-up video, which also garnered over 6.3 million views, @nornor_nuna said that the jacket shrunk for real and stressed that it was not a piece of content she made.
She also showed off the Versace jacket post-shrinkage and hilariously tried to put it on, but to no avail.
