Whether you’re dating or married, it goes without saying that you should never cheat on one another. Getting physical with your girlfriend or wife (and we don’t mean that in a good way) is also a major no-no.

Aliff Aziz, 26, a singer from Singapore who’s currently based in Malaysia, married his then-girlfriend Dayang Ara Nabellah Awang Astillah, 23, in September 2016.

Recently, or 20 days ago to be exact, the two welcomed their first son, and everything was great! Awww!

It was all joy and laughter until things took a turn for the worse yesterday, when Astillah visited a karaoke centre to search for her husband.

Astillah, who was accompanied by her mother, found Aliff with another woman at a karaoke centre in Taman Shamelin, Cheras.

Understandably, an argument broke out between the two. Astillah claimed to have taken photos of her husband and the woman. However, Aliff had forcefully taken the phone from her to delete the photos.

According to a report by Utusan, after Aliff erased the evidence, it is believed he threw the phone back at Astillah’s face, thus causing some bruises on her face and knee. Aliff then stormed out of the room along with the other woman, leaving Astillah behind with her bruises.

A report has been made against Aliff and Kuala Lumpur CID chief Senior Asst Comm Rusdi Mohd Isa confirms that Aliff has since been detained by the police at 2am today.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time Aliff has been caught on the wrong side of the law. In fact, in 2014, Aliff was detained for punching a Malaysian hotel employee, and on a separate occasion he was summoned to court for stealing two mobile phones.

What an unfortunate turn of events for Astillah and the newborn baby. We hope that everything gets resolved soon!
