Just recently, a study has named Malaysia as the 3rd country where an individual is most likely to die on the road and the following clip that has gone viral doesn’t really help as well.

A 13-second video depicting the traffic in Malaysia was uploaded on a verified account on Twitter named Crazy Clips.

In the span of 2 days, the clip has garnered more than a million views and 3,000 retweets.

In the video, we can see the pedestrian light turn green which indicates that people can cross the road. However, the people were unable to do so as cars and motorcycles were speeding past the red light.

As Crazy Clips is an international account with a 1.6 million following, many people from other countries commented on the video.

Some questioned why there is even a traffic light and many shared what they would probably feel if they were there.

Others made jabs at it while some netizens said that they have visited or are from Malaysia but have never encountered anything like this.

Well, in our experience/opinion, this seems to be constrained to a certain place and it doesn’t occur on any other roads that we have used. However, we certainly hope that authorities can do something about this as it is very unsafe for pedestrians.
