Regardless of the reasons, stealing is never right and should NEVER be condoned.
The PDRM in Johor is currently on the hunt for a man who shoplifted at a supermarket in Tebrau, where he stole random items worth near RM1,000. Here’s what he attempted to steal.
- Chocolates
- Gastric medicines
- Seat hook
- Phone holder

In total, these items would have cost him RM952.19, precisely. The management of the mall successfully managed to subdued the 31-year-old female suspect but unfortunately, the male suspect managed to escape, at the cost of damage to other properties.
In the video below, the male suspect can be seen running down the escalator while being chased by a few staff of the supermarket. It took quite a number of manpower to stop the male suspect but to no avail.
In another video, the suspect is said to have escaped in a Honda City, but not before he caused some major damage to other cars in the parking lot. The incident happened yesterday (September 1) around 7:15pm.
In the meantime, Harian Metro reported that the female suspect tested positive for methamphetamines, as well as having 3 records of past crimes involving drug abuse. The male suspect, whom the police have identified as Mohamad Firdaus Shamsudin, has 7 records of past crimes involving shoplifting and drugs.
The female suspect is currently being remanded for further investigations.
