You know the awkward moment at family dinners when all your relatives are fighting to pay for the meal? Well, something similar happened at a nasi lemak stall, except that it’s more funny than awkward!

@bangsudu on TikTok is a famous nasi lemak bungkus seller on the road side, known for his RM1 nasi lemak. Recently, he shared a TikTok video showing how his customers insisted on paying him for their purchases even after he refused his payment a few times.

Insisting to pay

“If like this I don’t want to buy,” said one customer when he didn’t want to take his money. He said it’s the first time a customer “threw a tantrum” for not being allowed to pay!

He was shocked when the customer even went so far as to put back the nasi lemak he was going to buy, back in the basket.

Finally, @bangsudu managed to convince his customer to keep his money, or so he thought! He put his customer’s money into the plastic bag containing his nasi lemak, then passed it to him.

Another customer does the same

However, before leaving, the customer quickly dropped the money into the basket, prompting another customer at the stall to laugh at the stall owner’s “loss”.

Little did he know that the second customer was scheming the same thing. After receiving his bag of nasi lemak, he also quickly dropped some money into the basket before dashing off to his car.

Netizens are amused

In the comments, netizens express their amusement at the funny and wholesome video.

“First, the way the guy in the Coway shirt laughed is already funny. Second, his run is also very funny,” said one netizen.

“The one at the back learns fast,” said another netizen, referring to the guy wearing a Coway shirt who imitated the first customer.
