Many of us have probably lost our grandparents due to old age and it’s always a sad thing whenever you’re reminded of the fond times you have spent with them.

In a recent Instagram Reel by a Malaysian teacher, Nana, she shares how she gave pocket money to her grandparents and showcases their close relationship.

The video starts off with her grandparents protesting and saying that if Nana does not have enough money then she shouldn’t be giving them money as it is hard enough to survive.

“Do you have enough money? I am not asking you for money, I still can survive! If you don’t have enough money then you don’t need to give, you already earn little enough.”

However, when she handed over the cash to them and gave them each a hug and a kiss, her grandmother started tearing up while her grandfather was visibly appreciative.

The video continues with her grandfather cutely showing off his outfit to go to the mosque and getting a few kisses from Nana before going on his way.

Many netizens in the comments were envious of how Nana still has 2 surviving grandparents and could splurge on them.

“You are so lucky to still have them both. I only have my grandma left, my grandpa left in 2020. I feel like half of my life also went with him as he was the one who took care of me since I was a kid.”
