Malaysia’s future appears to be fairly gloomy due to political unrest and declining incomes.
However, Malaysians continue to have optimism for a better Malaysia thanks to occasional good news stories like yesterday’s imprisonment of Najib Razak.
Malaysia is constantly progressing in all areas, including the arts and culture scene, and just last week, Malaysian dance crew Zeppo Youngsterz clinched 3rd place at Singapore’s Super 24 dance showcase competition!
The crew performed a fascinating routine that combined silat and hip-hop choreography with music that incorporated traditional Malay instruments and trap beats.
The finals, held on August 14 at Our Tampines Hub, Singapore, saw finalists give their all in their 90-second routines on the eight-meter by eight-meter stage.
They were among 39 dance crews, consisting of 24 members each, that participated in the dance competition.
Netizens are amazed
Online users are in awe of the Malaysian dance group’s amazing performance, which brilliantly fuses traditional and modern elements.
“I always watch K-TIGERS ZERO combine K-pop and taekwondo, but this is crazy cool!”
Congratulations, Zeppo Youngsterz!
