Our food delivery riders go through a lot as their job is not exactly the easiest job in the world. Apart from having to deal with rude customers, they are also expected to do so much for so little.
What’s worse is when sometimes, there isn’t enough of a demand which means that our riders would often be stuck doing nothing and waiting for an order to come in.
Recently, a video on TikTok went viral after the food delivery rider who posted the video shared how he had ‘joined’ in with grass cutting workers on the side of a road and pretended to do their job.
In the video posted by @renggo69_ on TikTok, it appears like that food delivery rider had stopped his motorcycle by the side of the road where 2 workers could be seen cutting grass.
He then pretended to start up his very own grass cutting machine and proceeded to pretend to be cutting the grass with his imaginary machine.
The 2 workers seemed puzzled as they tried to understand what it is he was trying to do and one of the workers eventually gave a thumbs up to the food rider for his efforts.
The caption of the video reads, “Food delivery jobs have lessened so I have been forced to do work as a grass cutter.”
Only special people can see the machine
The video has since gone viral on TikTok and currently sits on over 1.1 million views. Plenty of netizens took to the comments section to share their amusement over the video.
“Fortunately he didn’t use the machine on you.”
“The brother looked so confused while you were starting the imaginary machine,” said a user.
A couple of users even made jokes about the whole incident.
“Your grass cutting machine is so nice.”
“The grass cutting machine is too advanced that none of us can see it,” commented another user.
