One of the most basic things an individual learns in driving school is probably switching gears to drive or park and pulling up the handbrakes.

However, this basic tip was not included in this clip, which is now being shared on various social media platforms.

At the beginning of the less than one-minute clip, a white car enters the compound. This CCTV footage was reportedly filmed at a PERODUA in Balakong, Selangor.

Shortly after, we can see that the driver’s door is open and that the car is slowly inching backward.

When the security guard saw what had happened, it was already too late as the car had made its way to the main road.

In a split second, a motorcyclist couldn’t avoid the car and crashed into it at full speed.

Another motorcyclist on the other lane suffered the same fate.

The white car then rolled all the way to the rightmost lane, and the approaching cars stopped just in time.

People came pouring out of the office to find out what happened and check on the victims.

Many netizens in the comments were bashing the driver for being so careless.

“The person came out so quickly from the car even the door was still open.”

“This is the carelessness of the driver. There needs to be action taken. He just made other people’s lives harder,” said a user.

Remember, whenever you park your car, you should always put it into P and/or pull up the handbrakes.
