It is true when they say that the police and the community cannot be separated. Through effective police-community relations, citizens can learn about their roles in crime prevention and what to expect from the police. In the same way, the police can better understand the people they serve and execute strategies to better address peace and order issues.

Apart from crime prevention, both parties do rely on each other for other instances as well and recently, a TikTok video went viral for showing two abang motor helping an abang polis in need.

In the video, it can be seen the two riders were towing the motorbike ridden by the abang polis. It was unclear what the issue was with the motorbike but thankfully, the two riders were there to help. Both of them placed their foot on the backpedal of the policeman’s motorbike and pushed him to, what we can assume, back to his station.

The action of the two riders has received praises from netizens in the comment section of the video. It is a rare incident as usually, a scene involving two riders and a policeman on a motorcycle will be somewhat negative. All in all, kudos to the two riders who were willing to help the policeman. We salute you.
