If you’re dealing with customers and clients on a daily basis, it’s a must to make sure that at least 1 person is stationed at the reception area for the visitors’ convenience.

A Facebook user recently shared on his social media and showed the image of an empty counter at Air Kelantan Sdn. Bhd. The time was 9:13 am, and according to Air Kelantan’s official business hour, the organisation is opened on weekdays (Sunday to Thursday) from 8 in the morning until 5 pm.

The absence of the workers was not the only thing that angered the man.

“No one bothered to respond to my WhatsApp, and no one responded to my call!” the man vented.

The man visited the office at Sunday morning and it did not take long for the image and his anger to circulate online, and the matter got the attention of Kelantan’s Deputy MB, who knew what happened exactly during the man’s visit.

“If you don’t know anything, don’t share it”

Datuk Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah clarified the matter during the live session of a discussion, known as Kelantan Maju 2028 and said that the staff of Air Kelantan was already present at the office but he was away to the toilet.

“He went to the toilet and was back at the counter at 9:30 am,” Amar said.

Amar also said the man was throwing baseless accusations about the counter being empty and no one was responding to his calls. For that, Amar said many people, especially social media users are quick to judge without knowing the truth beforehand.

“People use social media and spread without fact checking.”

Amar said he was initially shocked after reading the viral post but after he referred the matter to Air Kelantan, he decided to reveal the truth about what happened during the man’s visit.

Regardless, we do hope that all organisations in the country can promptly respond to all customers’ enquiry to avoid unnecessary conflicts.
