Alright, since when did kids voluntarily want to get braces?!
According to The Star, a video has been making its rounds on Facebook and caught the attention of Thai netizens. The video in question shows a young boy fitting dental braces on two of his classmates.
Apparently, the boy even charged them for the braces as well!
The video garnered mass criticism from Thai netizens, many of them pointing out that the children’s parents should take action.
Many of them were concerned over the hygiene of the boy installing the braces, which could leave the two ‘patients’ at risk of getting bad infections.
They even urged influential Facebook pages and television stations to educate the youth about the dangers of having untrained people install braces.

Some netizens also shared their concern over the fact that braces appear to be a trend among Thai kids. One netizen shared,
“I work at a stationery store and the kids that come in always ask me, “can I pay you to put a wire on my teeth?” First, we were confused over what they meant when they said ‘wire’.”
It turned out that the kids were actually looking for braces at the stationery store!

Apparently, these braces can be easily found and purchased online by anyone regardless of their profession.
Netizens called for these online distributors to be apprehended before someone gets seriously injured.
Whatever it is, let’s hope their parents and the relevant authorities clamp down on this issue before it gets out of hand and someone gets seriously hurt for real!
