A video of a salesgirl getting slapped by the personal assistant (PA) of Malaysian cosmetics entrepreneur, Nur Sajat, has gone viral since it surfaced online yesterday (29th January).
The salesgirl reportedly suffered injuries to her face, fingers, and body after the assault, according to the New Straits Times.
The video in question shows a woman pulling the pharmacy salesgirl out of the shop before repeatedly hitting her. The salesgirl began to defend herself and yell loudly, and the video ended shortly after that.
The 30-year-old salesgirl told NST that the PA reportedly went into the shop she was working at along with two other friends. She then pulled her outside to “discuss” something. Then, Nur Sajat’s PA suddenly slapped her once they were outside, claiming that the salesgirl insulted her.
“She slapped me repeatedly that I didn’t have the chance to speak. Her action prompted me to retaliate.”
Things then escalated into a scuffle between the salesgirl, the PA and two of her friends. The 30-year-old has claimed that she even lost her phone after the altercation and has since filed a police report against the PA and her two friends.
In response to all this, Nur Sajat posted a statement on her Instagram, according to the Malay Mail. According to her side of the story, the salesgirl verbally insulted the PA and even made rude comments about Sajat herself.
“You called my PA a dog and said all sorts of things about me. When my PA went for you, you got scared. Try having good manners, surely people won’t hit you after that. You want to hate on people but try taking a look at yourself first.”
Well, let’s hope the authorities sort this situation out and make sure that an incident like this doesn’t repeat itself!
