A woman was robbed in broad daylight after a motorcyclist approached her while she was alone in a car park.

In a video post on Facebook page Info Jenayah, Kemalangan dan Bencana (IJKB), the woman with a backpack hung on her shoulder can be seen closing her car boot before locking her car.

At this point in time, a motorcyclist can be seen passing by the street as the woman makes her away across the road. The motorcyclist then makes a U-turn and comes closer to the woman. She makes way for him but soon realises what his intentions are.

She screams and tries to run away from the suspect shouting “I don’t have anything” in Bahasa Melayu as the suspect chases her around her car. The woman trips and falls down while the suspect gets down from the bike and snatches her handbag.

The suspect drives off as members of the public appear and come to the woman’s aid.

According to several netizens in the comment section, the incident is said to have happened today (19 January) in Kota Kemuning, Selangor near Sanctuary Mall. CCTV footage managed to capture the motorcyclist’s number plate – BPC 6163.
