It’s easy to become a victim of robbery nowadays as thieves have become quicker and smarter in the way they carry out their criminal activities. This is why we need to be extra careful and alert when we’re out in public as thieves will take advantage of you if you’re not aware.

A man pumping air into his car tyres at a petrol station was robbed in broad daylight after leaving his car window down and was unaware that a man had sneaked up on him.

A video circulating on social media shows the victim squatting down beside his car as he filled his front left tyres with air. At this point of time, both of the car’s front windows were down.

A man then creeps up on him from the right side of the car and takes several items from the driver’s seat through the open window. But because the car was blocking the man’s view, he failed to realise what was happening!

He just proceeded to the next tyre while the suspect was able to walk away nonchalantly.

Here’s the video:

If you’re alone and in a public area like a petrol station, always be extra vigilant and aware of your surroundings. Ensure that your car is locked and the windows are up and do not leave any valuables like your handphone and keys in the car!
