Just weeks ago, eagle-eyed Malaysians spotted an orange-themed restaurant that will be opening soon in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.

Considering the cartoon and the taglines displayed at the eatery’s construction barricade wall, people immediately knew that the restaurant belonged to, none other than, Uncle Roger!

Unable to contain his excitement, the Malaysian comedian has since taken to his X page to share a sneak peek into the interior of his restaurant and how he’s feeling about this whole thing.

Uncle Roger, whose real name is Nigel Ng, wrote, “Taking a short break from YouTube weejios (videos) this month because we’re busy opening a restaurant in my hometown of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia! FUIYOH!”

“Never in my life would I expect this to become a reality. 4 years ago, I was just a comedian making silly videos in my apartment. And now, I have a fried rice restaurant that’s going to get roasted by everyone. HAIYAA.”

Nigel Ng also took the time to invite the general public to dress as his alter ego, Uncle Roger, to break “a few” Guinness World Records!

“Grand opening is on September 11 (Wednesday), put in your calendars so you never forget,”

“But, if you’re a fan who wants to make history with Uncle Roger and me, come dressed as Uncle Roger on September 14 (Saturday), at 10am. Uncle Roger will be filming and attempting a few Guinness World Records, one of which is the ‘largest gathering of Uncle Rogers’,” he added.
