Tunku Temenggong Johor Tunku Idris Iskandar Sultan Ibrahim shared his disappointment on Instagram after his beloved car was damaged by a BMW in front of a row of shops in Jalan Serampang, Johor Bahru.
Along with the post, he shared a picture of the scratches to his car and the BMW that had hit it, as well as CCTV footage of the incident.
Based on the video, the incident took place at 2.17pm yesterday (August 1), as the BMW with a Singaporean registration number had scraped Tunku Idris’s car while entering an empty parking space.
The male driver then got out of the BMW and walked past Tunku Idris’s car without even looking to see if there was any damage.
The car driven by Tunku Idris is the Honda E, a 100 percent electric vehicle with no engine. There are only four units of the Honda E in Malaysia, in which Tunku Idris owns one. The price of this vehicle in the Malaysian market is RM210,000.
Based on a report by Kosmo, Johor Bahru Selatan District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Raub Selamat shared that a report has since been made in regards to this incident.
We wonder how much it is going to cost the Singaporean BMW driver to repair the damages to the rare vehicle.
