The matter was confirmed by his assistant, Sufi Yusoff, to Astro Awani, who said Tun Mahathir had to leave around 10 this morning.

“He was really tired, but he is doing okay. He was asked to rest in IJN for now.”

Tun Mahahtir, however, is expected to be discharged this evening. Sufi also said that Tun Mahathir attended the potluck event, which was held to celebrate his wife Tun Hasmah’s 99th birthday and his belated 100th birthday. Tun M drove to Putrajaya by himself and reached the place at 7:45 AM before cycling around the park.
